Bebo Links 4-23-08 (Barbebleu)

Another group of Bebo Links. Mostly amateur theatrical productions.

I hope these links take you straight to the relevant photo, but, if not, check out the group of photos to the right. Also, there may be other cancan photos in the group of photos. I haven't posted multiple links to the same group of photos. In a few intances, when the links are to "contact sheets", there are multple pages.

Many of these Bebo photos have a "See Larger" option below the photo.

Downloading videos

For those of you who have not downloaded the latest Realplayer update-Do it.

It has a feature that allows you to download all videos even YouTube.  When you open any video a tab appears asking if you want to download the video.  It does so quickly and places the videos in a folder for easy access.A very nice feature.

New member here with links to my pics

Hi folks,

I became aware of this group when I saw one of my photos had been linked to from here, I put stuff up in the hopes that folks who find it interesting will see it so thanks to those of you who did and to barbeblue for posting the link. I'm a fan of the disney theme parks and the photo in question that was linked to  was from the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon revue in 2000, I have a few other photos from there but they are not up on flickr so perhaps a few links are in order.

There are a few photos of Slue foot Sue and her dancing girls in my September 1998 trip report (about two-thirds of the way down the page):

http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/1998/sept/003.htm

and some more in my August 2001 trip :

http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/2001AUG/04.htm

the photos on that page include the after effects of the part where Sue uses a hand stamper to make what looks like a lipstick mark on one of the guys cheek (After she tells him to closes his eyes and while makes a big Kissing sound) in this case the guy is me, I only wish my sister had gotten a picture of the stamping part. BTW I've still got the hat .

:-)

I'm missing some photos from a December 1998 trip to WDW (they've got to be around here somewhere! ack!) and if those ever turn up and there are any photos from the Horseshoe I'll add a link to those here, the only other photos I have from the Horseshoe were taken on a day when the dancin girls had the day off (it's last several years the girls were just one of the four acts and I think the way it worked was three of those four acts worked on any given day).

In addition to the Flickr photos (from 2000) that barbeblue posted a link to being available on flickr you can also see them embeded into the trip report on my site:

http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/tr/2000/04.htm

viewing them there you will also see another thing embeded into that page, there was a very short small video at the Horseshoe (though it was "state of the art" for a digital camera to even be able to take a movie in 2000).

CanCan Puppet

Brief puppet dance number from the old British sci-fi series "The Invisible Man." Quaint and unusual but amusing nonetheless.

Max has been doing an outstanding job of keeping us apprised of cancan videos as they appear. This is a collection of video odds and ends that may not have been posted. I haven't tried to check them though, so some may have already been covered by Max and other contributors. These include You Tube links that don't include "cancan" or one of the other normal search terms, links from other video sites, and links from dance company sites, etc.

RE: SAUCY TARTS PROMOTIONAL IDEAS (ATT. LICORICE TART)

"We've been trying to come up with new and clever ways to earn money towards our costume and studio space rental fund. We've toyed with all sorts of ideas but we're not sure what will catch people's attention. Does anyone have an suggestions for us?"

OK, I'll start the ball rolling with 10 suggestions:

1. Cancan classes for fun and fitness.

2. Cancan dolls (with full costumes) for kiddies ("Mommy, I want one of them!).

3. Promotional suspender stockings (Saucy Tarts Hosiery).

4. Weekend workshops for people interested in learning the dance.

5. Video disks of the show (for sale at the end of each gig).

6. Saucy Tarts playing cards

7. Saucy Tarts tarot cards.

8. Saucy Tarts computer game with a minor download fee.

9. Saucy Tarts board game.

10. Saucy Tarts exercise/aerobics disk.

Maybe: Belle Epoch-flavoured lingerie shows (each performance includes a cancan; local lingerie boutiques might support such an idea with an eye to free publicity).

You might also consider the benefits of free givaways, such as an inexpensive red garter with the words "Saucy Tarts" printed on it. Everyone loves a free gift, no matter how cheaply produced it is.

I hope these links take you straight to the relevant photo or to an Index page, but, if not, check out the group of photos to the right. Also, there may be other cancan photos in the group of photos. I haven't posted multiple links to the same group of photos.

Many of these Bebo photos have a "See Larger" option below the photo.

Choice of knickers

Am I alone on liking frilly white knickers in cancans as the most exciting?
Those in the wonderful movie Paris Cancan are the norm.
Anything else just does not really turn me on. Although red frilly knickers almost excite!
My girlfriend knows this . And I do not mind if she shows them (accidentally!!) when we go out.
When we play at home, a flash of these frilly white knickers under a French maid uniform arouses me in an instant.
Anyone comment?
