"Van Gogh", 1991

Not the best cancan by what we are used to but perhaps an approximation of what may have occurred before the dance became more formalized.  Added because this was a new film to me.  From France.

"Taneczne widowisko rodem z paryskiego kabaretu Moulin Rouge. Ten żywy i dynamiczny taniec wymaga od artystów dużej odwagi oraz sprawności fizycznej."  ( A dance show straight from the Parisian Moulin Rouge cabaret. This lively and dynamic dance requires great courage and physical fitness from the artists.)

CAN-CAN Finale (filmed 2005, remastered 2021)

"Theatre Under the Stars, Vancouver's production of Cole Porter's CAN-CAN was not perfect, but it was hugely entertaining with knockout dancing and fine singing by Cailin Stadnyk, ably partnered by Mark Pawson."
