Two nice rehearsal videos showed up on teh Interwebz today:
First, Lindsay "Geektron" Ferguson of Le Cancan Bijou posted this clip of her and fellow Bijou-ites Lace Windows, Cindy Lu, and Amy Gray running through their "Tesla" routine, choreographed by recent birthday girl Lizzie Lovelace:
Next, Claire Pottier (a student of renowned choreographer Monika Knap) posted this clip to her Instagram account, which can only be described as a standing diagonal split (with support from her partner) into a full floor split:
Here's one that won't wait. If you are going to take a cruise, this might be the one to take - on a bateaux on the Seine.
They call themselves Les Friponnes (Hotties), but the dancers are from Monica Knap's troupe. The video implies that they perfrom on one of the Seine river cruises, but that might just be a background for the video.
This video is not new, but I like it. The pictures were not available before. It appears to be from a "So You Think You Can Dance"-type show on Lithuanian television.

You better bring your camera (s). Things could get a bit rowdy.
I don't know what costume she will be wearing, but here's hoping for something nice.
Ms. O'Dwyer, who hails from Chicago, is a seasoned cancan performer, having danced at Novelle Eve (see video at 3:32) and in burlesque (see Prior Post below).
The above photos are from her Facebook page and Le Flatline's post. The video is from:
It's that time of year when the Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma, CA holds their annual Living History Extravaganza - and once again, Le Cancan Bijou stopped by to "kick things up a notch."
So enjoy (from left) Lace Window, Cindy Lu, Barbara Pond, and Meredith Sherwin, doin' what they do best - and what we love 'em for!
This troupe is from a fine arts school in the Czech Republic. The photos and video give an object lesson in why white knickers are the preferred choice to stand out against a dark background. The video is blurry but gives an idea of them in action.
