Can-Can-Kieselsteine

Can-Can-Kieselsteine in performance at the 2010 Oldenburger Tanzgala. This is in 480p resolution, which is the largest I can upload here. For a much nicer 1080p version see the original posted by OlisAbendshow at:

Can-Can-Kieselsteine - The Video

A must see video. Can-Can-Kieselsteine performs in 1080p at the 2010
Oldenburger Tanzgala!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNjRhoVL4nA

I'll see if I can post a version here, but the original is quite large (244MB at 1080p), so that may be a problem.

Can-Can-Kieselsteine

An outstanding cancan troupe that's not seen often enough is
Can-Can-Kieselsteine. They're identified by their precision dancing, a
sequenced swirling flash as part of their routine and their rainbow
petticoats, red ruffled panties and stockings - an arresting sight.

Photographer Admiral von Schneyder has captured them in performance at a
dance festival with some spectacular photos:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/admiral_von_schneyder/sets/7215762534734600\
1/with/5217199855/

The photos are a little grainy, but it's remarkable that he was able to
capture these performance photos without blurring, given the a distance
and the much less than ideal lighting conditions. Great work!

The group's home page is:

There are a few more photos at Flickr posted by p9kirchen:

And check out these videos to get a flavor of what their performances
look like, including the swirl I mentioned:

Putting the mellow in melodrama

You don't expect much when you hear the word, melodrama, but prepare yourself to be pleasantly surprised by the very pretty ladies of the The Belmont Community Players who perform an outstanding cancan while wearing some very nice costumes.

There's some very nice camera work here too. Compliments to the videographer. The original was posted by veghbella at You Tube. The url is:

House of Wax - Director's Cut (If I were director)

Everyone's seen it, I know, and the dancing is mostly skirt waving, but I still think it is one of the all time classics and have always liked it a lot.

In this version, which is from You Tube, Ahzpayne has done a bang-up video editing job on the original to extend the sequence to almost 6 minutes, and the result is quite nice. The dubbed-in sound track isn't something I care to listen to, but that's your choice. You can always hit the mute button and just watch the spectacle.

The original can be found at:

Cancan - from the Grand Riviera Princess

The caption says "naughty and scandalous". Well, maybe a little - the dancers are wearing slightly abbreviated black panties that will appeal to the bare belly button fans. Sorry - tights instead of stockings.

The performance is a good one, and the video is hi def - 1080p, so it makes for a very nice show. Unfortunately, Multiply has degraded the quality during the upload. So, I'd recommend you view the original, posted by JCVdude, at You Tube at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8OhSMBYvRk

The original performance includes some other non-cancan material, which I have edited out for presentation here.

Cancan in 3D

Not seen since "House of Wax", so far as I know, but here is a nice
little YouTube video that you'll need to break out your glasses to see
properly.

Not the best of costumes, but the dancers are game and the action is
close at hand.

Unfortunately, the obligatory chump makes an appearance, but thankfully
they didn't put him in a skirt, and he disappears after a minute or so.

The unidentified dancers are from Cyprus of all places. You can thank
XtraDefinition3D for posting the video. The link is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuH_16y351o&feature=related

Next, let's see the remastered 3D HD version of House of Wax.
