Hubba Hubba

The Hubba Hubba Revue is mostly a burlesque show, but there is an
occasional cancan thrown in, including by Le Cancan Bijou.

Cancan Translated

For the do-it-yourselfers here's a useful link. It shows cancan
translated into various languages, including a number that don't use
Latin script. Copy and paste into Google or something else and you may
discover some nice images:

Pre-Code Follies - Rarities

For fans of Pre-Code Hollywood, here are two rare items you may want to
add to your collection. The first is a film called, Hot Pepper. For
it, I can only direct you to the following snarky review (by the way, I
wasn't bored) with a nice, if somewhat fuzzy, picture.

The film is available on DVD. I bought one on YouTube. It appeared to
be a commerically produced video, and the quality was reasonably good.
Not the best cancan ever by any means, but a worthy addition to anyone's
collection.

The other is a very short short, featuring, of all people, Eleanor
Powell, in the chorus. This one you can see immediately on You Tube:
