Shall we do a cancan dictionnary?
Hi everyone!
I am thinking if we shall codificate a cancan dictionary, including most of the cancan dance moves, you know those French words used to describe cancan moves are tricky.
I quite like the idea of a dictionary but it would need to be carefully compiled by an authoritative person, that is a dancer, choreographer or the like. Any of us could do the easy bits but how many of us could put the proper names and definitions to some of the dances moves or even the items of clothing. There is a challenge here for anyone who would take it on. It would be even better with a short video clip to accompany the description of the move in question. One thought. I have not tried looking for a dance dictionary on the web, have you? One might already exist. Siskin.
