Star West Trutnov - Four Course Cancan

By Star West of Trutnov, Czech Republic

This is a nice treat featuring four separate performances by the dancers of Star West in different costumes for each set.

The original was posted at You Tube by ladia07 an can be viewed at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_uF1tfW07U

The text reads, " Vystoupeni Kankanove skupiny Starwest po 20letech 24.10.2008 Narodni Dum Trutnov."

Star West has several other cancan videos, and videos of other dances too, at You Tube. See their channel at:

http://www.youtube.com/user/starwestcz

While their latest video, "Kankan 2010", which was just posted, features some nice new costumes, they appear to have succumbed to the dreaded black panty syndrome.

Star West at the Obecní ples

I came across this very nice video of Star West, the Czech dance group, performing at some sort of a party. The video was taken by H. Blazkova. I edited this to show just the cancan performance.

The original in HD is on Vimeo at:

http://vimeo.com/36644173

You should also pay Jaroslav Blazek's page a visit. Her husband? He is a professional photographer and there are some high quality photos of the same event located there. It is at:

(Use the arrows to go to the second and third pages of photos)

Great work by Star West, Ms. Blazkova and Mr. Blazek.
