Saucy Tart

Here is a link to the site of photographer Skye Regan who has taken a very nice photo of a Saucy Tart in mid-swirl:

Saucy Tarts - Redux

A while ago I posted some photos of the Saucy Tarts of Toronto and mistakenly surmised that the group had gone inactive since their websites had not been updated for a couple of years.  Happily, I was in error.  As the video above shows, the group is alive and well.  They recently performed at a Cabaret stage by Toronto Lindy Hop.  See the original video at:

The Desription:

"The Saucy Tarts perform "Le KanKan" at the Toronto Lindy Hop (TLH) Cabaret, November 30, 2013 at the Dovercourt House in Toronto. For more information about Lindy Hop and Swing Dancing in Toronto, Check out http://www.torontolindyhop.com"

Saucy Tarts

The Saucy Tarts were indeed delightful at the Day of Delight, Dufferin Grove Park, Toronto, on June 2011.  From the Tumblr blog of Kabeliya:

The Saucy Tarts' Facebook page (last updated in 2011) is:

Sadly, the lack of recent activity makes it appear that the Saucy Tarts may have disbanded.  Toronto's loss is ours also.

The 27th Annual Great Latin America Folklore Show - Saucy Tarts

For the stockings fans.  A very nice performance at The 27th Annual Great Latin America Folklore Show, in Toronto by the Saucy Tarts.  Interrupted by some twits who blunder in front of the camera. The original posting by Airiss4way  on You Tube follows the title by a "1".  Perhaps there will be a "2".
