Les Folies Offenbach - Les Bouffes Parisiens

This appears to be a French television miniseries/biopoc about Jacques Offenbach. The cancan appears only in the first episode.  There's a little too much Offenbach on the cut-away shots during the cancan, but it's still very nice.  Bless anachronism.

Orpheus in the Underworld

From a UK version in the 1980's I believe. If you liked Benny Hill's Benito's sketch, you'll like this too.

In case anyone in the UK or other Region 2 countries wants a DVD of this, it is:

George Walker presents “Orpheus in the Underworld”, a Brent Walker/BBC Co-production

I didn't see a US version at Amazon, but I didn't look extensively for one elsewhere.

If you have a worldwide DVD player, this should work for you.

Barbebleu

Orphée aux enfers

The unique performance by Théâtre de la Monnaie, with a dancing-on-the-table cancan, several royal flashes, and classic style costumes. The original posting of this on You Tube is at:

This is available on DVD. See the details on You Tube.
