Oh Mes Ananas

This nicely edited video shows off the talents of Oh Mes Ananas, a New Zealand cancan troupe that moves up to the top tier of the active cancan dance groups so far as I am concerned. You'll see what I mean. Here is the URL of the original posting:

Study in Sepia

The Sharon Thompson dancers perform an excellent Can Can at The Tivoli Club of Western Australia. The sepia tone of the video actually adds something to it, I think. The performance includes, among other nice moves, a long handstand and the rarely perfomed maneuver made infamous in the old "Carry On, Cowboy" film. You'll know it when you see it.

The original video, available in 720p, was posted by LifeIsStaged at:

I couldn't find a website for the dancers, but here's their contact information, should anyone wish to hire first rate troupe in Australia:

Angels of Dance

A great set of cancan pictures was just posted on Flickr by a dance
troupe called Angels of Dance or Dance Angels, possibly from Portugal.
The costumes could be better, but it is a very nice collection of
pictures nonetheless.
