No Name Cancan 1992

Posted for historical interest.  This blurry video is of the dancers at No Name City, a now-closed western theme park in Poing, a town near Munich.

Fans have revived it in an annual Spirit of No Name City festival.  Several groups, including the Wild West Girls, have done notable perfomances there, as can be seen in the link to prior posts below.  Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any good photos of the Wild West Girls for the 2016 festival, but there are these two group shots:

The person who posted this at You Tube indicates it is from a 2016 cruise show on the MSC Splendida.  The lighting spoils the effect a bit.

"ВЕСЕЛАЯ ВДОВА" театр МУЗ.КОМЕДИИ ХАРЬКОВ

A production of The Merry Widow by the Musical Comedy Theater of Kharkiv in Ukraine.  The cancan starts at: 2:00:10, and there is a nice curtain call at 2:15:17.

A good show, somewhat diminished by the presence of the male dancers and some inconsistent lighting. There are a couple of French maids thrown in for good measure.

You Light Up My Life

The Divine Company of London lights things up with a LED cancan.  It's a very nice show, and the dancers are beautiful, aren't they?

You can also have them dim the lights for a conventional cancan.
