The Silhouettes

Not that long ago I did a posting about the Silhouettes of Adelaide, Australia, with some nice photos. Now there is a video of their cancan, and it is a must-watch for its remarkable hand-stand sequence.

Cancan - Moulin Rouge, Comédie musicale de l'ENTPE, Mars 2014

A nice performance by the student members of AEITPE for the musical Moulin Rouge.  These two photos were all that I could find.

康康舞 (Cancan)

Another Chinese video this time with a European (probably Russian) troupe.

From Little Red Books to Big Red Petticoats

This is presented for its novelty because it is unusual to see a Chinese troupe properly outfitted and willing to raise their skirts above knee level.  They've come a long way - from waving little red books to  waving red petticoats.

Olive Oztentatious

Olive Oztentatious is an Aussie who has been in the La Nouvelle Eve show and has found her way to Chicago where she performs at the Kiss Kiss Cabaret and with the Swing Club Sirens.  Her mobile facial expressions add a lot to the fun of her act. And the photos don't tell the whole story about her performance, as you can see in the video above and the Vimeo video linked below.

She has her own Facebook page at:

The videos are at:

As noted on the photos, they are mostly the work of Greg Inda Photography, whdphoto and JEB Photography.
