Cancan and Clowning Around

Things start off normally enough and then degenerate into a Trump rally as fatigue sets in.  Some nice flashes along the way.  In 1440p.  The dancers are not identified.  The musicians are the M'Douzet Orchestra.  The revue is called "Strass Forever".

Imperia Dance - канкан 2016

 

Imperia Dance, who wear their hearts on their ... derrieres, are featured in some nice photos and an exemplary video for royal flash fans.  And how about the opening of the first video!

I think I have also seen a royal flash photo of them.  If I come across it, I'll add it later.

Lola Retrospective I

Early members of the cancan groups will remember with fondness Lola, whose photos in the spirit of Spick and Span and Moriarty appear above.  She valued her anonymity, hence the bars across her eyes in the pictures.

I came across these while looking for another early photo and thought they deserved to see the light of day again.  I'll post a few more in the days to come.

These are from an era of small size jpgs and before his-res cameras were around, so the images are not as sharp as they would be if taken today. They are very enjoyable nonetheless and have great sentimental value.
