Tokyo ROUGE

J-Pop meets cancan with satisfactory results.  The group is Tokyo ROUGE. They sing; they dance. Be patient with the videos, and be sure to watch the second one. Things get more interesting when they lay their mikes down.

The videos (available in 720p).

Showa Kayokyoku?

I came across this one that I thought was particularly nice with nice close-ups of the performance. I thought at first glance that this was the J-Pop troupe, Tokyo Rouge, but at a further look determined that it wasn't. The best I can deternmone is that the dancers are with Showa Kayokyoko.

Per google Translate:

"Showa Kayokyoku hit medley. Based in Asakusa Rokuku, the birthplace of Japanese entertainment. Performed a review show of Showa Kayo and succeeded in over 2700 long-run performances. Popular with nostalgic shows that incorporate pantomime, Japanese drums, acrobatics, etc."
