La Quadrilla - Then and Now

Some photos from the long time Czech dance troupe, La Quadrilla, from 1996 and from the present.

Then:

And now:

I have to confess that I would like the older costumes better, but for the fact that stockings have been added to the current ones.

I wasn't able to find any videos.

La Quadrilla

A very nice performance by one of the well-established Czech dance groups, La Quadrilla of Brno. They were one of the first Czech groups I encountered on the Web who performed the cancan.

This is a very clear, well done video with good lighting. It was originally posted by tweetycek at Yahoo:

Prag'da Çek Gecesi: Kankan Dansı

A nice video of Czech dancers taken by ČeskoTurecko / ÇekTürk, which I take to be a Czech/Turkish person.  The dancers are not identified.  The costumes resmble those of La Quadrilla, but I don't think it is them.

The video.
