The troupe is made up of local Harrogate Ladies.

 The CanCan Dollies has performed at Burlesque for Deathrow Dogs and Good Rocking Tonight for Burlesque without borders.

CanCan Dollies

A new UK cancan troupe, the CanCan Dollies, has entered the scene.  Note the proudly displayed Union Jacks.

Can Can Dollies

The UK-based Can Can Dollies have an excellent video out now.  Stockings fans will appreciate their costumes.

From what I can determine these came from a Spanish television show called "De Un Tiempo a Esta Parte" on the Canal 9 network.   The second cancan from yesterday's posting, set in the show it was excerpted from can  be seen at:

CanCan Dolly Dollies Japan 1988-89

This is one of those wish-I'd-been-there performances.  The dancers are the Dolly Dollies from a 1988-89 show in Japan.  Accordingly, the video is not very sharp, but the performance makes it worth posting.
