Today (August 23 2016), the TV channel FranceTV 2's program JOURNAL featured a short segment on the pleasures of Montmarte, including cancaneuses Claire and Cynthia of Le Friponnes and singers Yvette Guilbert & Fleur de Trottoir of side project Chantons Montmarte. The Chantons/Friponnes pairing combine guided street tours of Montmarte, cancan performances, and even dance lessons for tourists and passers-by.
