Histrionics

It was fun while it lasted.  Unfortunately, the Port Townsend Washington Vaudeville show staged by the Histrionic Club seems to have gone dark, with the last facebook post being from 2013.  It seems to have had a ten year run, and the video is from 2009.  The photos and video are a little blurry, but indicate how much fun the show must have been.  A nice routine for the flash fans and those who like costuming originality.

The Merry Widow - Zurich

A production of The Merry Widow at the Zurich Opera House.  The grisettes are too modestly attired, but the video itself is nice and sharp.  English subtitles get in the way.

I'm posting this today since I am not sure how long it will remain up at You Tube.

French Cancan e Cabaret

The costumes could be better, but this is a nice close-up video of a performance at an  event in Milan called "L' Artigiano in Fiera" - French Cancan e Cabaret.  The dancers are not identified.  Video by Fabio Barbalini.

Sebuzinsky Ball

A Czech ball, enlivened by these cancan dancers.  The costumes look familiar, but I don't remember the group's name.  Too bad about the plain black.

Bonjour GC French Festival and Bastille Day

Brisbane, on Australia's Gold Coast, puts on a French Festival and also has a Bastille Day event.   As you can see there are some very nice performances.  The lead group is the Marissa Burgess Girls, with additional performances by the Corinna School of Dance and KOTB performance Academy.

Scarlett

Scarlett Entertainment represents a large number of dance troupes from around the world that have cancan routines, including Tilllie's Cancan, the Lady Grey dancers, the Dynamic Dancers, Demoiselles Mi-Sticks, Cabaret Versitile and others I can't readily identify.  Unfortunately, the dancers in the video above are identified only as "Artists #10".  I'm not sure of the actual name of the troupe.

The video has too much of the guy, but it definitely has its moments:
